How does my 1-hour reservation work?

  • Reservations are made using our easy online system that can be done through the website, or on your mobile device using the app. Simply book it, and with a 20 minute buffer between reservations, your Training Pod will be clean and ready when you get here
  • A coach is always walking the floor, available for a spot, technique adjustments, and program design
  • No waiting in line for equipment
  • No sharing or borrowing weights from other members
  • No interruptions mid-set

What exactly is a Training Pod?

  • 8x8 Olympic Weightlifting platform
  • Large steel squat rack with pull-up apparatus
  • High quality Olympic Weightlifting bar
  • Pendlay elite color competition discs. 
  • Fully adjustable bench up to 90º, which can be used for bench press, incline press and military press
  • Skipping rope, chalk bucket, change plates, and collars
  • Use of the communal area, with dumbbells from 3lbs-100lbs, glute-ham developer, leg press, reverse hyper, kettlebells, strength bands, foam rollers, box jumps, turf: sleds, prowler, ladders, hurdles

-Trainers that are tired of training out of their home studios, or doing in-house training, have the option to train in the Android Bodies facility for free, if their clients are members

Individual Coaching:

  • For the serious athlete looking to immediately upgrade their speed, strength, and power
  • 1-on-1 or small group coaching will allow athletes to reach their full potential in the quickest time possible
  • Constant movement dissection, testing and retesting, coaching cues and fixes, intense mobility and flexibility training, and never ending motivation
  • This is the most efficient way to progress into the 'Android Athlete', and be at the top of your game

Teams:

  • The entire Rent-A-Rack facility can be used for team training by blocking off 1-hour sessions to run organized strength and conditioning workouts
  • In-season teams can book weekly sessions to maintain strength throughout the season and keep performance levels up
  • Off-season teams can train together to upgrade strength, speed, and power to ensure dominance in the coming season

  • Having worked with multiple professional athletes, as well as countless numbers of NCAA and CIS athletes, Coach Brody has seen it all; Every mobility restriction addressed, every ounce of strength obtained, and every moment of fun to keep it from feeling like a second job
  • Trained 100+ minor league athletes ranging from hockey, soccer, football, baseball, basketball, ringette, rowing, rugby and lacrosse players
  • Coached multiple kids, as young as 9-10 years old, the fundamentals of strength/body weight training, as well as kinaesthetic awareness and how to gain full control of their bodies in order to progress into doing deadlifts and squats
  • Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion
  • Certified Personal Trainer by the National Council of Certified Personal Trainers
  • Olympic Weightlifting Level 1 through Kanama High Performance
  • Olympic Weightlifting Level 1 and Level 2 through the Glenn Pendlay Weightlifing Program
  • First Aid/CPR Level C/HCP + AED
